My experiential journey

The good life is more than a lifestyle trend for me. It has been a part of my life since I was a young woman growing up in Sparta and joining my mother in her excursions to the nearby mountains, blissfully surrounded by the aromas of oregano and sideritis, and carrying cloth bags to collect fresh herbs, the primary ingredients for our homemade pies, pomades and cosmetics.

Thus, my interest in nature and natural living was cultivated from a very young age. I loved to wander around and collect herbs from the foothills of Μount Taygetus and the banks of the Eurotas river and make the best of their health-enhancing properties. My grandmother Maria, with whom I often used to spend the summer, taught me in the secrets of authentic Spartan cuisine and my mother, who was well ahead of her time, initiated me in the habits of the good life: vegetarian meals once a week, a small quantity of red meat and lots of seasonal vegetables on our menu, grape therapy in September and of course homeopathy.

Well-being always and everywhere

I loved and appreciated the value of well-being by experiencing its benefits. To me, well-being means a strong body without toxins, a sharp mind, clear eyes and a calm, bright soul. My interest in well-being has remained unquenched throughout the years. During the decade I worked as an international model, I never stopped collecting information about the good life and at the same time preaching the benefits of Greek herbs. I may have spent long stretches of my life in Miami, New York and Paris, and travelled to countries in all continents, but I always carried a little memento of Taygetos in my suitcase: oregano, thyme, tea, sage, honey... The experiences I had from home were my fellow travellers.

My love for the natural life was further strengthened when a few years later I became a mother of four children. Motherhood and my desire to protect my children led me to delve even further into the secrets of good living, clean food and mental balance.

Throughout this journey, through my personal, professional and social interactions, I have found that there are many advocates of natural living, as well as many people who would like to make the shift but lack the motivation or knowledge. At that point I made the major decision to start a communication channel and share my experiences and the information I have gathered over the years.

The good life is for everybody!

So, in 2019, the GoodLife by Gina, was launched on YouTube, which was warmly embraced by all of you well-being enthusiasts. It has now exceeded 4.7 million views and has evolved into an interactive communication network, hosting health, wellness, beauty and exercise topics, always with an eye on nature. My fellow-travellers on this journey, since its beginning, have been a team of experts and scientists who offer their insights on the topics I present.

As our relationship is built step by step, in 2022 another important channel of communication was launched, the goodlifebygina.gr site. The team has grown even more, the topics are being constantly enriched and our communication evolves. My mission, however, never changes: To cultivate interest in well-being, to present primary material and to prove that the most simple is the most meaningful.

The greatest success and satisfaction for me is to know that I am putting my two cents worth in your path to the good life. Because after all, as I often say, the good life is for everybody!
